  • New Design for Chamber Bucks

    Change is good! 

    Chamber Certificates or Chamber Bucks, as they are commonly called, have gotten a makeover in the last couple months and soon you will begin to see them circulating in place of the old design. 
    The new certificates will look like this:

    will still be accepted at businesses until you are told otherwise. In fact, we encourage you to get out and spend these Chamber Bucks because many of you might not realize that the businesses cannot get reimbursed for the dollars you spent until those certificates make it to our office!  

    Apart from just the new look, the Chamber Bucks also have a different way of being redeemed. You will notice that the Bucks are one set denomination instead of the previous option of getting them in any increment of $5 up to $100. Before, you could get whatever amount and give as a gift. The recipient then could visit multiple Chamber Member Businesses until they had spent the entirety of the certificate. This caused some issues with businesses not getting their redemption check because customers were not spending the entire gift certificate and instead letting it sit with a few bucks on it in a drawer or on top of their dresser. If this sounds familiar, please go out and spend the rest of that certificate!! The new method of the Chamber Bucks is to have one set price, where the entire certificate must be used at one Chamber Member Business so that the business can redeem the certificate right away and get reimbursed. 

    Chamber Member Businesses- Please make sure that you are including your name on the back of the certificate and filling out any other information requested on the old design Chamber Bucks. We CANNOT send you a check if we do not know who turned the certificate in! For your own peace of mind, we suggest keeping accurate records of the certificate numbers, date the certificate was redeemed and the amount of the certificate.
